Duo Arctica is a young and promising pianist duo from Norway, and has already gained considerable national and international experience. Duo Arctica are presented by two talented pianists from Norway; Joachim Carr and Mathias Susaas Halvorsen

In 2008 Duo Arctica was awarded third prize in the annual international piano competition "Concours Grieg" in Oslo, where they ...also won a special price for their performance of "Armenian Rhapsody", written by A. Babajanian/A.Aratunian. The duo currently live and practice in Oslo, while they complete the last year of education at the "Barratt Due" Institute of Music. The duo played at the Rachmaninov in several festivals, and gave performances in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Netanya and Beer Sheva in December.

The album was recorded at Troll Classics, Rekstensamlingene, Bergen, Norway. Produced by the legendary Jiri Hlinka and sound engineer Arne Wilhelmsen.
